Woodlynn Ltd. began in 1963 when Lyn Parris, a skilled craftsman, started turning bed legs on a lathe under his house. Rapid growth led to a move to commercial premises in New Lynn within 18 months. By 1966, the business expanded to Glen Eden, where it remains today, though the facilities have evolved significantly. In 1991, Bob Williamson’s leadership saw the company thrive in export markets, supplying components to large Australian furniture manufacturers. The Evans family took over in 2003, diversifying the product range to include handrail and balustrade components. The acquisition of Fleetwood Furniture’s frame-making activities in 2006 and Woodcroft Industries’ operations in 2012 further enhanced our capabilities. Today, Woodlynn Ltd. leverages its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and dedicated team to offer a wide array of wood products.
