ABOUT US
Our History
For over a century, Woodcroft has been a trusted manufacturer of a diverse range of solid timber products for both home and industry. In 2012, Woodcroft officially joined the Woodlynn family, bringing our century of specialised woodturning heritage together under one roof.
Today, we continue to deliver the same exceptional craftsmanship our customers have relied on for generations. We specialise in both custom-made and stock components, working with a wide variety of materials including Pine, Rimu and premium hardwoods such as Beech, American Ash, American Oak and many more.
Handrails and Brackets
We stock a wide range of timber handrails in a variety of timbers such as P. Rimu, American Oak, American Ash, Tasmanian Oak, Victorian Ash and more. We also stock a range of handrail brackets to provide a one stop solution for your handrail needs.
Balustrades
We stock a wide range of timber handrail and balustrade components (in both Pine and P. Rimu) to provide a choice of styles to suit your stairs. Working with professional installers we can provide a complete supply and fit service. For the builder or experienced DIY person we can supply the components required. If we do not stock the existing product you want we can usually make something that matches.
Timber Screening
Timber screening offers a modern contemporary solution to your barrier requirements and opens up spaces to allow light to flow. Timber fins are a real statement piece in as a room divider or stair barrier.
Stair Treads
Our In-House polishing facility provides a convenient finishing service for items where final appearance is important. We also provide an assembly service if required.
Furniture Components
Woodlynn produce an extensive range of wood components for use by other manufacturers across a wide number of industries, in particular for the furniture and building industries, plus for shop, café and bar fit outs. While most products are custom made for specific end uses we do stock some general products such as sofa legs and bed legs for supply to wholesalers and furniture manufacturers.
Building Components
With over fifteen lathes available, from a standard hand lathe and copy lathe, semi automatic lathes to high speed rotary lathes we should have the right machine for creating the turned product you need. Our hand craftsman wood turner can provide prototype samples for your approval prior to manufacture if required.
We also manufacture a variety of general timber items not involving turning for use by other companies. These include various trays, boxes and pallets using combinations of timber, plywood and MDF.
